Themenreihe Hoffnung

Anknüpfend an unseren Thementag im letzten Jahr laden wir 2025 einmal im Monat für eine Stunde zu einem Impuls „Hoffnung auf …“ ein. Wir wollen uns bestärken, lernen und in Bewegung kommen, um die Hoffnungsbotschaft unseres Glaubens zu teilen: Im Alltag, in unserer Gemeinde, durch Aktionen oder Vernetzung. Eine Übersicht über die folgenden Termine und Themen finden Sie hier.

Letzte Hoffnung Kirchenasyl
Der Schutz durch Kirchenasyl ist für viele von Abschiebung bedrohte Geflüchtete die letzte Hoffnung auf Sicherheit, ein faires Asylverfahren, eine Chance auf ein Bleiberecht. Gleichzeitig nimmt der staatliche Druck auf das Kirchenasyl momentan zu. Wir wollen uns kritisch mit dieser Tradition auseinandersetzen und uns beschäftigen mit den Fragen: Worauf gründet sich diese Praxis theologisch? Welche Möglichkeiten gibt es und wie wird entschieden? Ist Kirchenasyl vielleicht nicht nur für Geflüchtete, sondern auch für Kirche ein Hoffnungsgeber?

Last hope – Church asylum
For many refugees threatened with deportation, protection through church asylum (sanctuary) is the last
hope for safety, a fair asylum procedure and a chance for a right to stay. At the same time, pressure from thegovernment on church asylum is currently increasing. We want to take a critical look on the topic of church asylum and address the following questions: What is the theological basis for this practice? What options are there and how are decisions made? Is church asylum perhaps not only a source of hope for refugees, but also for the church?
