Breklum, December 2023. In December 2023, the first CCAP-seminar took place in Breklum, Germany. Representatives of the participating German parishes and institutions came together to discuss their wishes and requests. The next steps to a fruitful partnership with the Tanzanian partners were also considered. They were joined by Joygrace Shoo, CCAP-coordinator from the East of Lake Victoria Diocese (ELCT-ELVD) who gave a broad overview of the project’s status in Tanzania.
After an introductory lecture on „Resilience in times of climate change in Tanzania”, the group engaged in a lively and open discussion on the targets and future workflow of the project. With all questions and key points taken into account, the participants agreed to form a self-organized Collegial Consultation Group. This is intended to support and facilitate the future work and milestones of all partners involved.
