Nansio-Ukerewe Parish is located in the Ukerewe District of Mwanza Region. It is situated in the great lakes area of Tanzania, 45 km North of the city of Mwanza to which it is linked by ferry. Ukerewe is the fifth-largest lake island in the world. Nansio-Ukerewe parish is located on an island in Lake Victoria in the Ukerewe Diocesan District. The local churches that belong to this parish are located in small islands near Ukerewe . So to be able to reach them, one must use a boat. Nansio Parish consists of 269 members: 72 are men, 97 women and 100 children.
