Galilaya Parish (Malya) is situated in Kwimba District, Mwanza Region, Tanzania. Located about 110 kms from the East of Lake Victoria Diocese (ELVD) headquarters in Mwanza City, it is one of the parishes in the Northern Diocesan District. The parish is located near the Malya farm where the Diocese in collaboration with the Centre for Global Ministries and Ecumenical Relations (ZMÖ) implemented a Water for Malya Project.
Galilaya-Malya Parish consists of 191 members where by 43 are men, 89 women and 59 children.
